Founded in early 1947, WALA has been one of the leading privately owned fragrance manufacturers, with its presence in domestic and international markets. In 1947, Late Shri Naranbhai Wala founded the fragrance house in Palitana, Gujarat. Following that, in 1950 the business and operations of the fragrance house were temporarily moved to Pune, Maharashtra, where it was officially incorporated into a company. After the sudden demise of the founding father in 1956, his son, Late Shri Pratapsinh Wala, took over the business, and it was permanently relocated to Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

Today, the company is led by Mr. Prakash Wala, a third-generation perfumer, who assumed the role of Managing Director in February 2022. With headquarters in Bhavnagar and two semi-automated manufacturing units in Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad, Wala & Company continues its timeless journey of excellence.

Our legacy represents unmatched authenticity, built on decades of experience and the transmission of values and knowledge through three generations. With deep respect for heritage and mastery of modern raw materials, each generation has added its unique stamp to this enduring journey.

Company Founded

Shri Pratapsinh Wala took over Business

Late Shri Pratapsinh Wala 2nd Generation, took over the business, and it was permanently relocated to Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

1993 

Awarded as Highest Exporter

Government of India awarded us Highest Exporter of Perfumes.

1995 

2nd Time Awarded as Highest Exporter

Government of India awarded us Highest Exporter of Perfumes 2nd time.

2022 

Mr Prakash Wala took over Business

Third-generation perfumer who took over the fragrance house as the Managing Director of the company in February 2022.

Supported by our Analytical, Application, and Sensory laboratories, every fragrance is thoroughly tested for excellence.

With a modern ERP system and semi-automated production facilities, we maintain consistent quality while ensuring fast and flexible delivery.
